Overview
VC Beast, LLC (“SponsorBeast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates sponsorbeast.com (the “Site”) and all associated products, services, and tools (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information in connection with the Services, and explains your rights and choices with respect to such information.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, do not use the Services.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you subscribe to the SponsorBeast Brief newsletter, submit a sponsor inquiry, request advertising information, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, company name, and the substance of your communications.
Usage and device data. We automatically collect certain information when you visit the Site, including your IP address (anonymized for analytics purposes), browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time and date of access, and general geographic location derived from your IP address (country and city level only). This data is collected through cookies, server logs, and similar technologies and is used in aggregate form.
Sponsor inquiry data. If you submit a sponsor inquiry, we retain the content of that submission — including your company name, contact name, email, website, budget range, sponsorship interest, and message — for the purpose of responding to you and evaluating a potential advertising or sponsorship relationship.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To deliver, maintain, and improve the Services
- To send the newsletter and related editorial communications you subscribed to
- To respond to and evaluate sponsor and advertising inquiries
- To respond to your inquiries, submissions, and support requests
- To analyze usage trends and improve Site performance, content, and user experience
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
- To protect the rights, property, and safety of SponsorBeast, our users, and the public
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use your personal information to build advertising profiles or engage in targeted advertising.
Disclosure of Information
We may disclose your personal information in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers. We share information with third-party vendors that perform services on our behalf, including email delivery (Beehiiv, Resend), hosting (Vercel), content management (Sanity), and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide their services to us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Legal compliance and protection. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with applicable law; (b) protect the rights, property, or safety of SponsorBeast, our users, or the public; (c) investigate or prevent suspected fraud or illegal activity; or (d) enforce our terms.
Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information.
With your consent. We may disclose information for other purposes with your express consent.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Newsletter subscribers: Your email address is retained until you unsubscribe, at which point it is removed from our active mailing list. Suppression records may be maintained to honor your unsubscribe request.
Sponsor inquiries: The contents of a sponsor inquiry are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to the inquiry and to maintain records of any resulting advertising or sponsorship relationship.
Analytics data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data is retained indefinitely for trend analysis. No individual user can be identified from this data.
Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, secure hosting infrastructure, and regular security assessments.
No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Third-Party Services & Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services that are not owned or controlled by SponsorBeast. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you access through our Site.
Our current third-party service providers include Beehiiv (newsletter), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), and Sanity (content management). Each provider has its own privacy policy governing its data practices.
Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information as promptly as possible. Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We do not sell, share (as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act), or otherwise disclose personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. This commitment applies to all users, regardless of residency.

The Services are operated from the United States.
